Job Title: LTL Specialist
Location: Knightdale, NC
Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented LTL Specialist to manage and coordinate Less Than Truckload
(LTL) shipments. This role ensures timely, cost-effective deliveries by preparing, tracking, and
optimizing shipments, while working closely with warehouse staff, drivers, carriers, and
customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule LTL shipments to meet customer deadlines.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers regarding shipment status.
• Optimize truckloads and reduce costs through consolidation.
• Ensure proper packing, labeling, and documentation (bills of lading, shipping reports,
TMS records).
• Track shipments, resolve issues, and handle damage or delay claims.
• Maintain strong carrier and vendor relationships, negotiating rates and terms.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s/Bachelor’s in logistics preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in LTL shipping, freight logistics, or a related role.
• Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong knowledge of freight operations, load optimization, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
