Job Description:

Primero Staffing is seeking a meticulous and efficient Order Selector to join our team. As an Order Selector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include:
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Order Picking: Accurately and efficiently pick customer orders based on provided pick sheets, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  2. Product Inspection: Inspect products for any damage or defects during the order picking process, and report any issues to the supervisor.
  3. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and notifying the appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or shortages.
  4. Packaging: Pack and secure selected items in designated containers or boxes, ensuring proper labeling and handling to prevent damage during transit.
  5. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure that all orders meet our company's quality guidelines.
  6. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order picker machines, in a safe and efficient manner.
  7. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, warehouse personnel, and delivery staff, to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting.
