Primero Staffing is seeking reliable and hardworking Industrial Bakery Assistants to join our team. As an Industrial Bakery Assistant, you will be an integral part of our bakery operations, contributing to the production of high-quality baked goods. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Assist with the preparation, production, and packaging of a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and other products, following established recipes and guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control procedures to ensure that products meet our high standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and storage spaces. Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking and reordering of bakery supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including the safe handling of equipment, hot ovens, and potentially hazardous materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including bakers, pastry chefs, and supervisors, to meet production goals and uphold product quality.
- Efficiency Improvement: Offer suggestions for process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and withstand hot/cold environments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
