Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring they receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with product information, order status, pricing, and availability.
- Field any calls that come to the office that include customer service-related issues, quoting, entering orders, etc.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Quoting and responding within a timely manner in accordance with the current policy.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring a positive resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist with collections for past dues.
- Create sales orders and double-check for accuracy.
- Obtain any customer-related information such as a ship to address, PO, phone numbers, etc.
- Provide customers with specifications and dimensions of attachments when requested.
- Logistically coordinate any shipments requiring a third-party carrier (Bid Out).
- Provide feedback to management on recurring issues and customer concerns.
- Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and overall customer experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software (e.g., CRM systems).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
