Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at Primero Staffing. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move products and materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, shipping containers, and other vehicles.
- Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory, perform stock counts, and update records in the inventory management system.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues or needed repairs.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in forklift operating is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Valid Forklift operator certification preferred but not required
- Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting.
